My brother passed away just before Christmas. Burton, of Direct Cremation Services, was wonderful. He made everything seem so easy and seamless. Every detail from the picking up of my brother in Toronto, bringing him to Kingston for cremation and filling out the paperwork was done efficiently and with care. A guide to Death Care in Ontario and a C.A.R.E. guide were also supplied. We couldn’t have asked for better service, especially during the Christmas season when there is a pandemic going on.

The service was amazing my grandmother was taken care of in such a wonderful way. I called at 10 pm and was looked after right away. My family was pleased with the cost and the way the details were taking care of . Highly recommend there service .

My dad passed away and I called Burton and he was just wonderful. He was super friendly, polite and caring and made the whole process go so well. He took care of everything for me even all the paper work that needs to be filled out. I would highly recommend him as during this sad time he really explains everything and never tried to up sell me on anything at all. Fantastic! We couldn’t recommend Burton and Direct Cremation Services more highly. He was very accessible, compassionate, capable and appropriate. He made the whole process of losing our mother as smooth as it could be. We had issues with the newspaper publishing the obituary correctly and he went to bat (successfully) advocating for us to get it fixed quickly. He struck a perfect balance between being solemn when he needed to be, and having a light heart when it was appropriate as well. Im sure he hears this a lot - “hope I don’t have to see you again” but only because it’s never fun to lose a loved one. Burton was wonderful to deal with my mother passed and when I called direct cremation. Burton walked me though everything that needed to be done was the most polite person I've ever dealt with. Will highly recommend when you need this service not only because of the best pricing but I called every cremation service place in the quinte region and none were as polite as this one.
